IT BT Department, Karnataka Startup Elevate 2023 Call 2 – Winner DOSTBIN (Incubated at BMS INNOVATION CENTRE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP PARK (BICEP), BMS Institute of Technology and Management). Dr. Seema Singh, Founder of Dostbin, after getting shortlisted at various levels, presented before the jury panel members at final pitching session organized by Startup Karnataka at the K-Tech Innovation Hub,(CIF) powered by IKP, HSR Layout. This prestigious recognition comes with funding that will be utilised, primarily for the product launch in the market.
Pitch for the Planet, IIT MADRAS
DOSTBIN was selected as one of the top 10 finalists in the prestigious “Pitch for the Planet” Contest conducted during the Grand Expo of the Carbon Zero Challenge in 2023 at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Further, the funding was awarded to the promising innovative product to the team leader, Dr Seema Singh.
Nasscom Tech.We Startups
Dostbin is part of Nasscom Startups after Dr Seema Singh participated in NASSCOM Tech.We Fundraising Bootcamp (40+ women founders across karnataka) in January 2024. Dostbin was selected among 14 other women-led start-ups in technical innovation.

Dostbin is working towards development or improvement of a product, process or service and have scalable business model with high potential for creation of wealth & employment. With its Innovative ( *patent filed* ) product, Startup India has recognized Dostbin solutions private limited to be supported under DPIIT.

SEEDBRAINS 2.0, 2023
DOSTBIN was the winner at Seedbrains 2.0 at Cambridge Institute of Technology. CHOSS awarded cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-. Seedbrains is an annual event that aimed to provide a platform for young innovators and entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and compete for the top prize.
NLPC, 2023
DOSTBIN was the winner at National Level Project Competition held at Ramaiah Institute Of Technology. The jury was impressed with the prototype and the details of the design and automation. DOSTBIN stood second place with a cash award of Rs. 1,00,000/-
ISF, TAL TRANSFORMERS,2023
DOSTBIN recognised at Indian Startup Festival, TALTransformers. The Dostbin product was appreciated by the jury members including overseas judges. Dostbin received prize money of Rs 25000/- . It was a Social Innovation Challenge and the product was appreciated in comparison with various product (rapid composter) available in other countries which charrs the kitchen waste with high consumption of electricity.
FKCCI MANTHAN,2023
DOSTBIN Team was shortlisted in the top 32 teams as a finalist this year across Karnataka state. Dostbin was awarded Rs 10,000/- cash prize as a finalist at the Grand Finale at Sir M V Auditorium FKCCI – Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry, K G Road, Bengaluru.
THE NEXT FOUNDERS, 2024
DOSTBIN team was the winner in the Next Founder’s Competition held at ISBR (International School of Business & Research) Business School. DOSTBIN stood first place with a cash reward of 25000/-.
ANVESHANA 2024
DOSTBIN team participated in National Level Project Competition held at BMS Institute of Technology and Management. The Finals was held on 23rd February,2024 and DOSTBIN stood third place with a cash reward of 25000/-.
