Composting is the process of breaking down organic waste into nutrient-rich soil through natural decomposition.
The capacity of the bin is 1.5 ft width x 2 ft breadth x 2.5 ft height.
It can be kept in the kitchen, balcony, or any ventilated area with easy access to dispose of daily wet waste.
Food scraps, fruits, vegetable peels, leftover food.
It produces compost and liquid fertilizer (leachate).
DOSTBin is designed to maintain proper moisture and aerobic conditions during composting. Remix Powder, cocopeat powder, and Activated Charcoal help control odour and maintain a hygienic composting process, leaving only an earthy smell. Only organic waste should be added to the bin.
DOSTBin is designed as an easy-to-use solution for processing organic waste on-site. Unlike power-intensive electric composters, DOSTBin is designed to be energy efficient and suitable for daily use. For bulk organic waste, DOSTBin also provides solutions for apartments, hotels, offices, and institutions.
DOSTBin’s automatic models use very little electricity compared with power-intensive electric composters. The Premium model uses less than 5 units of electricity per month, while the larger Twin Composter uses approximately 10 units per month.
DOSTBin is designed to be easy to use and maintain. The Popular model requires light maintenance, including turning the handle for about 2 minutes daily, while the Premium model is fully motorized and automates its aeration cycles. Necessary maintenance supplies typically cost around ₹100–₹200 per month.
DOSTBin is designed for homes, institutions, and communities. It is energy efficient and designed for easy daily use, making it suitable for regular organic-waste composting.

DOSTBin comes in Manual, Semi-Automatic, and Fully Automatic models. The product range includes solutions such as DOSTBin Popular and DOSTBin Premium, along with larger solutions for bulk waste management.
DOSTBin Popular is a simple, low-cost composting solution designed for homes and users who are comfortable with light maintenance. It is a manual model that requires turning the handle for approximately 2 minutes daily.
DOSTBin Premium is a fully automatic and motorized composting model. It is app-enabled and automates aeration cycles, making the composting process easier with minimal manual effort.
DOSTBin Premium produces compost approximately every 10 days.
DOSTBin is available in Manual, Semi-Automatic, and Fully Automatic variants. The Manual model requires more user involvement, while the automatic models reduce manual effort through automated operation. DOSTBin Premium is a fully motorized, app-enabled model with automated aeration cycles.
⚙️ 2. Product, Installation & Usage
If we take 10 kg as an example, we will get 20% of the 10 kg, i.e. 2kg will be produced.
If we take 10kg as an example, we would get 2 – 3 litres of leachate (liquid fertilizer).
If you don’t want to use the fertilizer to your plants, you can connect to your drainage pipe

Even without the Automatic variant, the mobile application provides valuable functions such as: Notifications for manual mixing/aeration schedules. Tips and guidelines for optimal composting. Customer support and troubleshooting. Easy ordering of refill packs. Tracking of compost production and progress.
Refills are generally required every 2-3 months, depending on the amount of waste you generate.

The produced compost can be used in your home garden, potted plants, or lawn to enrich the soil. If you do not wish to use it personally, you can avail for our compost buy-back option, where we collect the compost and supply it to local farmers, contributing to sustainable agriculture.
